The AALIANCE project will organize a validation workshop on the 22 and 23 of September at the High Tech Campus (Philips Facility) in Eindhoven to discuss the AALIANCE AAL Roadmap with experts.

During the workshop there will be two series of parallel sessions on application domains and also for the technology areas (see the programme below). So each expert can participate in two discussions on application domains and two technology areas. Each of the parallel sessions discuss one of the sections/chapters from the document:

Applications Domains: AAL@home, AAL on_the_move, AAL in the community, AAL@work

Enabling Technologies: sensing, reasoning, acting, interaction, and communication

Each discussion group will have a very small number of experts (3-4) and a person of the AALIANCE team as moderator. Experts will prepare themselves for these sessions by reading the specific part/chapter of the roadmap for the session they have indicated in their application.

We would like to have experts from relevant organizations or projects with reasonable knowledge in  the domain of AAL and since the technology section is an important part of the document some feeling about the technologies required.

If you would like to participate in the workshop, please fill out the application form and indicate your specific interest in AAL and the sessions in which you would like to participate (You can specify three preferences for the applications domains and the technology areas). Send your application to aaliance@aaliance.eu. The organising comitee will select a limited number of persons to participate based on their expertise and session selection.
