Rate the AALIANCE session proposal for the ICT 2008 conference!
The AALIANCE project has proposed a networking session at the ICT 2008 conference in Lyon from 25-27 November 2008. The networking session is titled "Ambient Assisted Living: New Challenges for Researchers, Innovators and Policy makers". You can rate the proposal on the ICT 2008 website.
Ambient Assisted Living (AAL) solutions can extend the time elderly people can live in a decent way in their preferred environment and increase their autonomy, self-confidence and mobility and increase the efficiency and productivity of used resources in the ageing societies. At the same time AAL provides new challenges and opportunities for researchers, companies and policy makers alike. AALIANCE - the European Ambient Assisted Living Innovation Alliance - has proposed a networking session for all stakeholder at the ICT 2008 conference to share and discuss their views on the upcoming AAL sector in Europe.
